Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in cloud computing? Google is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Google Cloud Support Associate – Level 1 IT. This entry-level position is designed for candidates who have a foundational interest in IT and are keen to learn. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in supporting Google Cloud Platform users. You will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, helping them navigate technical challenges, answer queries, and ensure a seamless experience with Google Cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical support for Google Cloud Platform products and services via various channels (email, chat, phone).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues related to Google Cloud infrastructure, compute, storage, networking, and identity management.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support engineers or specialized teams following established protocols.
  • Document all customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in our case management system.
  • Guide customers through self-service options, documentation, and best practices for Google Cloud usage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on product issues and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest Google Cloud product features, services, and support policies through continuous learning and training.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for technology and a genuine interest in cloud computing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and web technologies.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with any cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Basic knowledge of command-line tools and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
