Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Airbnb Turn-over Host to manage guest check-ins and ensure our properties in Quebec City are immaculately clean and ready for new arrivals. This role is crucial to our guest satisfaction and involves a blend of property care, guest communication, and logistical coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of vacation rental properties between guest stays, following established checklists and standards.
- Inspect properties for damage, missing items, or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Restock essential supplies such as toiletries, linens, and kitchen necessities.
- Meet and greet guests upon arrival, providing a warm welcome and essential information about the property and local area.
- Conduct property walk-throughs with guests at check-in, demonstrating features and answering questions.
- Ensure properties are prepared for guest arrival, including setting thermostats, turning on lights, and arranging amenities.
- Manage laundry for linens and towels, ensuring fresh sets are available for each turnover.
- Communicate effectively with guests, addressing any immediate concerns or requests during their stay.
- Coordinate with the local team for maintenance or special requests as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
- Be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, based on booking schedules.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in hospitality or short-term rentals.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in English and French (bilingualism is highly valued in Quebec City).
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry cleaning supplies and linens.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Airbnb or other short-term rental platforms.
- Familiarity with Quebec City and local attractions.
