Job Description

Join Amazon Logistics as a Regional Distribution Hand, an essential role in our extensive supply chain network. This position involves the efficient handling, sorting, and dispatching of packages across designated regions, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. You will be a key part of our operations, working in various distribution points and potentially traveling between sites within the region as needed, with a travel allowance provided to support your efforts. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load and unload packages from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care.
  • Sort and organize packages according to designated routes and delivery schedules.
  • Scan and track packages accurately using handheld devices and internal systems.
  • Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Travel to various distribution centers or hubs within the regional network as required to support operational needs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic proficiency with handheld scanning devices (training provided).
  • Valid driver's license (if regional travel involves operating company vehicles).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution setting.
