Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-time High School Parking Attendant to join our team for weekend evening shifts. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and a safe parking experience for students, staff, and visitors attending high school events such as sports games, concerts, and theatrical performances. You will be the first point of contact for many, providing helpful directions and maintaining order in designated parking areas. This position offers a great opportunity to support your local community and contribute to a positive event atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct vehicle traffic and guide drivers to available parking spaces in designated areas during weekend evening events.
  • Monitor parking lots for unauthorized vehicles or potential hazards and report issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide friendly and clear directions to visitors, ensuring a positive experience upon arrival and departure.
  • Assist with setting up and removing signage, cones, and other parking control equipment.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence, promoting a safe and orderly environment.
  • Communicate effectively with event staff, security, and visitors regarding parking procedures and capacity.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve minor parking-related issues with courtesy and efficiency.
