Job Description
Join the UPS team as a Full-Time Dock Associate and play a crucial role in our logistics operations. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us move packages through our hub quickly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload packages from trailers, containers, and conveyor systems.
- Scan packages and sort them accurately according to destination codes.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.
- Inspect freight for damage and verify counts.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
- Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts – certification not required but a plus).
