Job Description
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking for a rewarding night role? Bluebird Care in Headingley is seeking dedicated Entry Level Night Carers to join our thriving team. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals with little to no prior care experience, as we provide full, comprehensive training and ongoing support. As a Night Carer, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to our customers through the night, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to customers during night hours, adhering to individual care plans.
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers as required, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Administer prescribed medication in accordance with training and company policies.
- Monitor customers' well-being throughout the night, documenting any changes or concerns accurately.
- Perform light domestic tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to customers, addressing any anxieties or needs.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any alerts or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any significant observations to the care manager.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (beneficial for night shifts).
- Previous experience, even informal, of caring for a family member or friend.
