Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Chauffeur Aide – Support Lead Driver to join our elite team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This vital role involves supporting our Lead Chauffeurs in providing an impeccable and seamless transportation experience for our clients. You will assist with vehicle preparation, luggage handling, route planning, in-trip support, and occasionally act as a relief driver, ensuring all aspects of the service meet Carey International’s rigorous standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and grow within the luxury transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Chauffeurs with pre-trip vehicle inspections, cleaning, and preparation to ensure immaculate condition.
- Handle client luggage with care and efficiency, assisting with loading and unloading.
- Support navigation and route optimization, anticipating traffic and ensuring timely arrivals.
- Provide in-trip assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed trip logs and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip status and any issues.
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance checks and report any necessary repairs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Occasionally operate company vehicles as a relief driver or for repositioning as directed by the Lead Chauffeur or management.
- Uphold Carey International's reputation for professionalism, discretion, and exceptional customer service at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or experience in a customer service role requiring driving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Tampa Bay area, including Pasco County.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage, often weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized.
- Commitment to client privacy and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury transportation, hospitality, or a similar service-oriented industry.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and real-time traffic applications.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
