Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bank Teller II to join our dynamic team in Fayetteville, AR. This role is perfect for individuals with prior banking experience looking for a new opportunity and offers relocation support for qualified candidates. As a Bank Teller II, you will be a vital front-line representative, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, accurately processing transactions, and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships. You will handle a variety of financial tasks, resolve customer inquiries, and ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal procedures. We are looking for someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
- Open and close accounts, process loan applications, and assist with other banking services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to all security procedures.
- Educate customers on various banking technologies and self-service options.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar cash-handling role.
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with banking software and standard office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, etc.).
- Experience with sales or referral in a financial services setting.
- Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
