Job Description

Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, CA, is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Healthcare Assistants (HCAs). This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity with immediate start availability, providing comprehensive training to equip you with all the skills needed to excel. You will play a vital role in supporting our medical teams and providing direct patient care under supervision, contributing to a positive and healing environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs and record patient observations accurately.
- Support nurses and other healthcare professionals in patient care tasks.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment.
- Respond to patient calls and requests promptly and kindly.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
