We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently select, pick, and prepare customer orders for shipment within our fast-paced distribution center. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select and pick merchandise from warehouse locations based on picking tickets or RF scanner instructions.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and item number against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and efficiently after training.
- Organize and prepare orders for staging and loading, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality and productivity standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace safety rules.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers).
- Familiarity with RF scanners or other inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
