Job Description

Are you passionate about video games and have an eagle eye for detail? Do you dream of getting paid to play and help shape the future of gaming? Keywords Studios is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Virtual Video Game Testers to join our remote team. This is an entry-level opportunity where you’ll play upcoming games, identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues, and provide critical feedback to our development partners. No prior experience is required – we’ll provide all the training you need. If you love gaming and are eager to contribute to the quality of new titles from the comfort of your home, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and test cases across various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and errors with clear, concise, and accurate descriptions.
  • Provide constructive feedback on game design, usability, and overall player experience.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Adhere to project guidelines and deadlines for testing tasks.
  • Collaborate with the QA team and developers to ensure high-quality game releases.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased game content and information.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various genres and platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate different operating systems.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience playing a wide variety of video games.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of game development cycles.
