Job Description

We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic Music Lesson Coordinator to join our team in New Port Richey. This administrative role is crucial to the smooth operation of our music lesson programs, ensuring students and instructors have a seamless experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong administrative background, and a genuine interest in music education. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the scheduling of music lessons for students and instructors, optimizing capacity and minimizing conflicts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for student inquiries, registration, and administrative support.
  • Process lesson payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records for lessons.
  • Coordinate new student enrollment, including introductory meetings and placement assessments.
  • Maintain and update student and instructor databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new music instructors, including background checks and contract administration.
  • Communicate effectively with instructors regarding schedule changes, student progress, and administrative updates.
  • Prepare and distribute lesson materials, attendance sheets, and other necessary documents.
  • Support marketing efforts for music lesson programs, including creating promotional content and managing inquiries.
  • Organize and coordinate student recitals, workshops, and other special events related to lessons.
  • Handle office supplies inventory and ensure the lesson areas are well-maintained and organized.
  • Implement and enforce academy policies and procedures related to lesson operations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in an educational or arts setting.
  • Proficiency in office software (MS Office Suite, Google Workspace) and scheduling systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with music terminology or experience in a music-related environment.
  • Experience with CRM software or dedicated student management systems.
