Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Customer Success Manager to join our team, specifically focusing on our portfolio of innovative tech startup clients. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact for our tech startup partners, ensuring their success with Concentrix’s services and solutions. You will build strong relationships, understand their unique challenges, and work collaboratively to drive adoption, retention, and growth. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate the fast-paced world of technology startups.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of tech startup clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Understand client business objectives, challenges, and success metrics to proactively identify opportunities for value creation and service optimization.
- Onboard new tech startup clients, ensuring a smooth transition and rapid time-to-value for Concentrix services.
- Monitor client health, usage, and satisfaction, proactively addressing any issues or risks to ensure high retention rates.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to present performance insights, showcase value, and align on future strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, product development, and technical support teams to resolve client issues and deliver tailored solutions.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and work with sales to expand our footprint.
- Gather client feedback and advocate for client needs internally to influence product roadmap and service enhancements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client-specific technologies to provide informed guidance.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Customer Success best practices and playbooks for the tech startup segment.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the technology sector or with startup clients.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to client success.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with SaaS products or service providers.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and customer success platforms (e.g., Gainsight, ChurnZero).
- Understanding of the tech startup ecosystem, including common challenges and growth stages.
- Project management skills and experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications.
