Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our remote team as a Shopify Product Sorter. In this essential role, you will be responsible for meticulously categorizing products within our Shopify e-commerce platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimal discoverability for our customers. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing significantly to our online retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately categorize new and existing products within the Shopify platform according to established guidelines.
- Ensure consistent tagging, naming conventions, and product attribute assignment across all categories.
- Review product data for discrepancies, errors, or omissions and make necessary corrections.
- Collaborate with inventory, marketing, and web development teams to improve product data quality and workflow.
- Identify opportunities for enhanced product categorization to improve user experience and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Assist with bulk product uploads and updates, verifying data integrity.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product catalog and business objectives.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
- Good written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital tools.
