Job Description

This entry-level role is crucial to the smooth operation of our hospital, ensuring patients, equipment, and vital supplies are moved safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely and courteously between wards, departments, and other areas using wheelchairs, trolleys, or beds.
- Deliver and collect medical records, specimens, equipment, and other items as required throughout the hospital.
- Assist with the movement and setup of medical equipment and furniture.
- Respond promptly to requests for portering services, managing your time effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of portering equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
- Provide compassionate support and reassurance to patients during transport.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Physically capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting as required for patient and equipment transport
