Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Accurately process prescription refills, new prescriptions, and transfers while adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential patient profiles and records.
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing patient inquiries, handling transactions, and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and organizing medications and supplies.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and cash registers, accurately handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ensure continuous compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new procedures and technologies.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with data entry.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (any industry).
