Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Accurately process prescription refills, new prescriptions, and transfers while adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential patient profiles and records.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing patient inquiries, handling transactions, and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and organizing medications and supplies.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and cash registers, accurately handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new procedures and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
