Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and efficient Frozen Food Boxing Operative to join our dynamic team in Lethbridge, Alberta. This crucial role involves working on our production line, ensuring the accurate and timely boxing and packaging of various frozen food products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position offers a premium shift allowance to reward your dedication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Accurately count, weigh, and box frozen food items according to specifications.
  • Monitor production line for any issues and report them promptly to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to food safety and occupational health and safety.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a cold, fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg regularly.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
