Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Virtual Product Photographer to join our dynamic creative team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality product imagery for a wide range of ASOS products, directly from your home studio. You will receive products via mail, photograph them according to our brand guidelines, and deliver professionally edited images ready for our e-commerce platforms and marketing campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for a photographer with a keen eye for fashion and product styling to contribute to a leading global retailer without the need for daily commuting. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage product samples shipped directly to your home studio.
- Plan and execute product photoshoots in a home studio environment, ensuring consistent lighting, styling, and background.
- Capture high-resolution, sharp, and color-accurate images of various products, including clothing, accessories, and beauty items.
- Adhere strictly to ASOS brand guidelines for photography and styling.
- Perform post-production editing, including color correction, retouching, and cropping, to meet required specifications.
- Organize and upload final image files to our digital asset management system in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with the ASOS creative and production teams regarding project status, challenges, and deadlines.
- Maintain your own photography equipment and ensure a professional, well-lit shooting space.
- Continuously improve photography techniques and stay updated with industry trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in product photography, preferably for e-commerce or fashion.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality product imagery.
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras and various lighting setups (natural and artificial).
- Expertise in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Excellent understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and styling for product presentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home studio setup suitable for product photography.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with fashion or apparel photography and styling.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Knowledge of current e-commerce trends and best practices in product display.
