Job Description
Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for retail and customer service? Winners in Gastown, Vancouver is looking for enthusiastic Weekend Retail Assistants to join our vibrant team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible weekend shifts and immediate employment in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You will be instrumental in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, ensuring the store is well-organized, and supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude, providing excellent service and product knowledge.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising and stock replenishment.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and tagging merchandise.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg)
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is an asset, but not required
- Basic knowledge of POS systems
- Passion for fashion, home decor, and current retail trends
