Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Fulfillment Associate with a strong focus on e-commerce warehouse operations to join our team in Morgantown, WV. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, ensuring packages are prepared for shipment with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to contributing to our seamless e-commerce fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and label e-commerce orders according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists.
  • Sort and stage packages for outbound shipping, ensuring proper loading and routing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to order fulfillment or equipment.
  • Uphold FedEx's commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Basic computer proficiency for scanning and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics setting.
  • Experience with e-commerce order fulfillment systems.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment.
