Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and technically-minded Online UPS Associate to join our infrastructure team in Santa Ana. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous availability and performance of our critical digital media platforms by maintaining and monitoring Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen interest in supporting the backbone of digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS systems and associated power infrastructure.
- Monitor UPS performance parameters, identify anomalies, and respond to alarms and alerts promptly.
- Document all maintenance activities, system configurations, and incident reports accurately.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new UPS units and battery replacements.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to resolve complex power issues and implement preventative measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards at all times.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during critical incidents as needed.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for UPS maintenance.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and power systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and test equipment.
