Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as a Weekend Security Guard for part-time night shifts in Temecula, CA. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. While the title mentions ‘Licensed SIA’, for this location, it refers to possessing a valid security guard license in accordance with California’s Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) regulations. You will perform patrols, monitor surveillance equipment, deter illegal and inappropriate activities, and respond to emergencies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises on foot or in a vehicle, checking for unauthorized persons, security breaches, and potential hazards.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems, promptly reporting any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Control access to the facility, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure safety and security.
- Prepare clear and concise daily reports on activities, observations, and incidents.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent loss.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, offering assistance and directions when needed.
Required Skills
- Valid Security Guard License (e.g., California BSIS Guard Card)
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for report writing
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

- Reliability and punctuality for night shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service (6 months+)
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- High School Diploma or GED
