Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Health Intern with a focus on Healthcare Experience. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance patient and member journeys, working with cross-functional teams to identify pain points, propose solutions, and support the implementation of patient-centric initiatives. You will gain exposure to various aspects of the healthcare industry, from digital health solutions to care coordination and member engagement strategies. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to collaborate with teams across the nation from the comfort of your home office. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, analytical, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to make a tangible impact on how healthcare is delivered and experienced.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching and analyzing current healthcare experience trends, best practices, and innovative solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient and member satisfaction and engagement.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings, contributing ideas and insights related to healthcare experience.
- Help collect, organize, and analyze feedback from various sources (surveys, focus groups, direct feedback) to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for improving healthcare journeys.
- Collaborate on projects aimed at optimizing digital health tools and patient portals.
- Support administrative tasks related to project management and team coordination.
- Learn and apply project management methodologies in a real-world healthcare setting.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in healthcare, patient experience, and service design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or a patient-facing role (volunteer or paid).
- Familiarity with healthcare industry trends and challenges.
- Experience with data analysis tools or survey platforms.
- Prior coursework or projects focused on user experience (UX) or service design.
