Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our EA Sports team as a Data Entry Specialist with a focus on Sports Statistics. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining a wide range of sports-related data, which is critical for the development and ongoing updates of our world-class sports titles. This is an on-site position based in our San Antonio office, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the accuracy and realism of EA Sports games.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update complex sports statistics, player data, team rosters, and game results into our proprietary databases.
- Verify the integrity and consistency of large datasets to ensure high-quality information.
- Research and cross-reference various sources to confirm data accuracy for multiple sports.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies and errors promptly.
- Assist in organizing and structuring data to improve accessibility and usability for game development teams.
- Collaborate with game designers, producers, and quality assurance teams to ensure data meets project specifications.
- Adhere to strict data entry deadlines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Proven ability in accurate and efficient data entry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong knowledge and passion for various sports and their statistics (e.g., football, basketball, soccer).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience with database management systems or sports analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with EA Sports titles and the gaming industry.
