Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured mentorship program, meeting regularly with an assigned AI Specialist mentor.
- Complete training modules and certifications in core AI/ML concepts, tools, and platforms.
- Assist senior AI specialists in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing for various AI projects.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of basic machine learning models and algorithms.
- Conduct preliminary data analysis and generate reports on model performance and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning through continuous learning and research.
- Document processes, code, and project outcomes clearly and comprehensively.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and computer science principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a curious mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or in progress).
- Completed coursework or personal projects demonstrating an interest in AI/ML.
- Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Previous internship or academic project experience in a technical role.
