Job Description
Are you a responsible 13-year-old looking for easy, local summer work? Keep It Green Landscaping & Lawn Care is seeking enthusiastic Plant Sitters to help care for our clients’ cherished plants during the warmer months. This is a perfect opportunity to earn some extra money, enjoy the outdoors, and learn more about plant care right in your neighborhood. No prior professional experience is required, just a love for plants and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Watering plants according to specific instructions for each client's garden.
- Checking plant health for any visible issues like wilting or pests.
- Reporting any concerns or changes in plant condition to a supervisor.
- Performing light weeding around potted plants or small garden beds.
- Ensuring plants receive adequate sunlight or shade as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area around the plants.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- A genuine interest in plants and gardening.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to report observations.
- Must be 13 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
