Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Office Associate to join our dynamic team at Hilton Garden Inn Palmdale. This on-site role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel office and delivering outstanding service to our guests. The successful candidate will manage a variety of administrative tasks, support front desk operations, and assist hotel management to maintain our high standards of hospitality. Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including efficient guest check-ins, check-outs, and handling all guest inquiries with professionalism.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and attention to detail, utilizing hotel reservation systems.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, managing correspondence, and preparing reports for management.
- Accurately process payments, maintain cash drawers, and ensure precise guest account management and billing.
- Provide comprehensive support to hotel management in various operational and administrative duties as required.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and organized office and lobby environment to enhance guest experience.
- Promptly and courteously resolve guest complaints and issues, escalating to management when necessary, to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards, ensuring compliance and quality service.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities to handle diverse responsibilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as the hospitality industry operates 24/7.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel, front desk, or general hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS, OnQ, etc.).
- An Associate's degree in Hospitality Management or a related business field.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English) is a significant asset in our diverse guest environment.
