Job Description
Are you passionate about the art of barbering and eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic, high-energy environment? Tommy Guns Original Barbershop in Saskatoon is seeking a dedicated Junior Barber Apprentice to join our bustling team. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, master essential techniques like fades and hot shaves, and grow into a skilled barber. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. No prior experience is required; we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting senior barbers with client preparation and clean-up.
- Maintaining a clean and organized barbershop environment, including sanitizing tools and workstations.
- Learning and practicing various barbering techniques, including fades, scissor cuts, shaves, and styling, under direct supervision.
- Observing and shadowing experienced barbers to understand client consultation and service execution.
- Greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Supporting retail product sales and inventory management.
- Attending training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and product knowledge.
