Job Description
Join J.Crew as a remote Clothing Tagging Staff member, a vital role in ensuring our apparel meets our high standards for inventory and presentation. This full-time position allows you to contribute to a leading fashion brand from the comfort of your home, focusing on the meticulous process of inspecting, labeling, and preparing clothing items for distribution and sale. You will be responsible for accurately applying price tags, security tags, and other necessary labels to a variety of garments, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and inventory management protocols. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining product integrity. While primarily remote, there may be occasional needs for local pickup/drop-off of materials, to be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately apply price tags, security tags, and other required labels to clothing items.
- Inspect garments for quality control, identifying and reporting any defects or discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain tagging supplies and inventory.
- Ensure all tags are correctly placed according to J.Crew's brand standards and procedures.
- Prepare tagged items for shipment or further processing, adhering to deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory levels, issues, and progress.
- Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and communication.
