Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Online Compliance Analyst to join our team, focusing specifically on adherence to Netflix’s internal policies and external regulatory rules. This role is crucial in ensuring that our digital content, user interactions, and operational practices align with established guidelines and legal frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. This position is 100% remote, based out of Layton, UT.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor online content, user-generated content, and platform activities for compliance with Netflix policies, terms of service, and industry regulations.
- Analyze potential violations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions in line with company guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in Netflix policies, industry best practices, and relevant legal frameworks impacting digital media and online platforms.
- Collaborate with legal, product, and content teams to interpret policies and provide compliance guidance on new features or content initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities, incidents, and trends for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and refinement of compliance monitoring tools and processes.
- Conduct internal audits and investigations related to policy adherence.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or online moderation role, preferably within the digital media or tech industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex policies and data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using online monitoring tools and data analysis software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Familiarity with various digital platforms and content formats.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience specifically with media content guidelines, intellectual property rights, or privacy regulations.
- Knowledge of Netflix's content and platform ecosystem.
- Certifications in compliance or risk management.
