Job Description

Are you handy with tools and looking for flexible, well-paid gig work? Metro Assembly Services is seeking skilled and reliable Furniture Assemblers to join our growing team in Vancouver. This is a multi-brand gig opportunity, meaning you’ll be assembling furniture from various retailers and manufacturers for our diverse client base. Enjoy the freedom of setting your own schedule and getting paid weekly for your hard work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately assemble various types of furniture (e.g., desks, chairs, cabinets, beds, shelving units) from different brands.
  • Follow assembly instructions and blueprints meticulously to ensure structural integrity and correct functionality.
  • Utilize personal hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding assembly progress and any potential issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at client locations.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality assembly services.
  • Manage scheduling and appointments for assigned assembly gigs.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with common hand and power tools for furniture assembly.
  • Strong understanding of assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy furniture components safely.
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites within Vancouver and surrounding areas.
