Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled FedEx Certified Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, OH. This is an immediate opening for a full-time position offering excellent benefits. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Key Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, order pickers) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate product counts and secure placement.
- Move materials and products to designated storage areas and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Accurately complete paperwork and use RF scanners for inventory tracking.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Valid FedEx Forklift Certification (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic mathematical and reading comprehension skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics or distribution center environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
