Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Septic Tank Digging Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a crucial, hands-on role that involves assisting our lead technicians with the excavation and maintenance of septic tanks. The work is physically demanding, often performed outdoors in various weather conditions, and involves exposure to unpleasant odors inherent in septic system services. While the nature of the work requires a strong stomach and a resilient attitude, it also offers high compensation for those willing to commit to this essential service. No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training for individuals eager to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in locating and uncovering septic tanks and drain fields.
- Perform manual excavation using shovels, picks, and other digging tools.
- Operate basic excavation equipment under supervision, as needed.
- Help with the removal and re-installation of septic tank lids.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures, especially concerning hazardous materials and confined spaces.
- Assist with the transport and setup of tools and equipment to and from job sites.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and timely project completion.

- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
