Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Returns Processor – Data Entry and Packing Mix to join our fulfillment team in Pearland, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately processing returned merchandise, ensuring proper data entry into our inventory systems, and preparing items for either re-stocking, liquidation, or disposal. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and speed are key to maintaining our high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify returned products against return authorizations and quality standards.
- Accurately input return information, product details, and disposition codes into our inventory management system.
- Sort and categorize returned items based on their condition, type, and final disposition (e.g., resale, defective, damaged).
- Efficiently repackage items suitable for resale according to company guidelines and prepare them for storage.
- Ensure accurate labeling and placement of returned goods within designated areas of the warehouse.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed, following all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets for processing returns.
Required Skills
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented warehouse environment.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or data entry role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.
- Experience with product inspection or quality control.
