Job Description
Are you an early riser with an eye for detail and a passion for creating an inviting shopping environment? Target is seeking a dedicated Part-time Retail Merchandiser to join our Albuquerque team. This role focuses on morning shifts, ensuring our sales floor is impeccably stocked, organized, and visually appealing before the store opens to guests. You’ll play a crucial role in product presentation, signage, and maintaining our brand standards, contributing directly to a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Execute visual merchandising strategies and planograms to maintain store presentation standards.
- Efficiently stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise, ensuring proper inventory levels.
- Organize and arrange products to optimize space and enhance the guest shopping experience.
- Place and update signage, pricing, and promotional materials accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify out-of-stock items, and assist with replenishment tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and backroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily merchandising goals.
- Provide occasional support to guests, offering directions or basic product information.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for morning shifts.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or stockroom operations.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
