Job Description
Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for music and a knack for trending social media content? Spotify is seeking a talented Music App Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team, focusing specifically on TikTok and Instagram Reels. This 100% remote role requires someone deeply immersed in digital culture, able to identify emerging trends, and translate the magic of music into captivating short-form video content. You will be instrumental in increasing user engagement, brand awareness, and app downloads by producing high-quality, shareable videos that resonate with diverse audiences on these key platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, produce, and edit engaging short-form video content specifically for TikTok and Instagram Reels to promote Spotify's features, artists, playlists, and overall brand.
- Monitor social media trends, popular sounds, hashtags, and challenges on TikTok and Reels to ideate and execute timely and relevant content.
- Collaborate with marketing, artist relations, and product teams to align content strategy with broader campaigns and product launches.
- Manage a content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and timely delivery of assets.
- Analyze content performance metrics to understand audience engagement, identify successful strategies, and continuously optimize future content.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, platform changes, and emerging tools for TikTok and Reels content creation.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for increasing Spotify's presence and engagement on social media.
Required Skills
- Proven experience creating viral or highly engaging short-form video content for TikTok and/or Instagram Reels.
- Deep understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and best practices on both platforms.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) for creating on-screen text and visual assets.
- Excellent storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- A genuine passion for music and familiarity with a wide range of genres and artists.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native platform insights).
- Basic knowledge of copyright and intellectual property rights related to music and video content.
