Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Part-time Household Aide to support a discerning client’s household in Arlington, VA. This role is primarily focused on weekend duties, combining essential cleaning tasks with various personal errands. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized, and capable of working independently to maintain a high standard of household care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general house cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens to a high standard.
- Handle laundry and ironing of household linens and clothing as needed.
- Run various errands, such as grocery shopping, post office visits, and dry cleaning drop-offs/pick-ups.
- Organize and declutter specific areas of the home as requested.
- Manage household supplies inventory and assist with restocking when necessary.
- Assist with light meal preparation or basic cooking on occasion.
- Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for privacy at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in household cleaning, domestic services, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to household maintenance.
- Trustworthy, discreet, and capable of handling confidential information with utmost integrity.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for errands and commute.
