Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Bulk Warehouse Associate with a strong focus on heavy industrial operations to join our team in Casper, Wyoming. This role is crucial for managing the flow of heavy machinery parts, components, and bulk materials within our central distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping large and often heavy items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse processes. You will operate various material handling equipment, adhere to strict safety protocols, and contribute to maintaining an organized and productive work environment that supports the demanding needs of our industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming heavy industrial parts and bulk materials, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Safely store items in designated warehouse locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy lifting equipment.
- Accurately pick and prepare outgoing orders for shipment, including packaging large and irregularly shaped items.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing of heavy loads.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, performing daily inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including sweeping, cleaning, and waste disposal.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proven ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) regularly.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with heavy equipment parts or similar industrial products.
- Certification in forklift operation.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and product specifications.
