Job Description

Are you a music enthusiast with a passion for inspiring young minds? School of Rock Murrieta is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic After-School Music Program Leader to join our team! This entry-level role is perfect for students or individuals seeking a fun and rewarding part-time opportunity to share their love of music. You will assist in facilitating engaging music-based activities, help manage student groups, and contribute to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for children and teenagers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead instructors in organizing and executing after-school music programs and activities.
  • Supervise and mentor groups of students, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
  • Provide basic musical guidance and encouragement to students across various instruments.
  • Help set up and break down equipment for classes and performances.
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging, and fun atmosphere for all participants.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Ensure adherence to program schedules and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Basic proficiency in at least one musical instrument (e.g., guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocals).
  • Strong passion for music and working with children/teenagers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

  • Reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications
