Job Description
Pechanga Resort Casino is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented High School Laundry Aide to join our local hospitality team. This entry-level position is perfect for students looking to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic hotel environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have fresh, clean linens and towels, contributing directly to their comfort and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Load and unload laundry carts, ensuring timely delivery of clean linens to various departments.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Laundry Supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or laundry setting is a plus, but not required.
