Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical E-commerce Order Fraud Reviewer to join our team in Asheville. In this crucial office-based role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing customer orders for potential fraud indicators, protecting our customers and the company from fraudulent activities. Your keen eye for detail will be instrumental in identifying suspicious patterns, conducting thorough investigations, and making timely decisions to approve or cancel orders. This position requires strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive reviews of customer orders and accounts for potential fraud, chargebacks, and policy abuse.
  • Analyze transaction data, customer information, and account history to identify high-risk orders.
  • Utilize various internal and external tools and systems to investigate and validate order legitimacy.
  • Make informed decisions to approve, cancel, or hold orders based on established fraud prevention policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and financial institutions regarding order status and fraud inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all investigations and decisions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of fraud detection processes and tools.
  • Stay informed about current fraud trends and evolving prevention techniques.
