Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plastic Surgery Nurse to join our exclusive boutique clinic in Wesley Chapel, FL. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our board-certified plastic surgeons, providing exceptional pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to our discerning patients. Your expertise will ensure a seamless and comfortable patient journey, from initial consultation through recovery. Key Responsibilities
- Assist plastic surgeons during a variety of cosmetic surgical procedures and in-office treatments.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative education and preparation for patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery post-procedure, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms, procedure rooms, and examination areas.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care, recovery expectations, and potential complications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records and documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to all sterile protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide compassionate support and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire clinical and administrative team to optimize patient outcomes and experience.
Required Skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for surgical, dermatology, or aesthetic practice backgrounds.
- Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and wound care management.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-end clinical environment.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Certification in Plastic Surgical Nursing (CPSN) or desire to obtain.
- Experience with aesthetic injectables (e.g., Botox, dermal fillers) and laser treatments.
- Knowledge of various cosmetic surgical procedures and non-surgical aesthetic modalities.
