Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Weekend Counter Staff, with a primary focus on our Snackbar operations. This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in providing excellent service, and is available to work evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of food and beverage items, handling transactions, and ensuring the snack bar area is clean and well-stocked. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and process orders for concession items efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and serve a full range of snack bar products including popcorn, drinks, candy, and other food items.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and credit transactions, and reconcile daily sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and dining areas.
- Restock inventory for all snack bar items, ensuring adequate supplies are available during peak hours.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist guests with general inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Support other theatre operations as needed, including ticket scanning and ushering duties during busy periods.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or a similar customer-facing role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A passion for movies and the entertainment industry.
