Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our temporary Airshow Fence Setup Crew. This vital role involves the safe and efficient installation and dismantling of perimeter fencing within an active airport environment, crucial for the security and crowd control of an upcoming airshow event. This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and stage fencing materials around the airshow site.
- Accurately measure and lay out fencing per site plans and safety guidelines.
- Assemble and secure temporary fencing panels and supports.
- Work collaboratively with the site management team and other crew members.
- Adhere strictly to all airport security protocols and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the dismantling and storage of fencing materials post-event.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the setup and teardown phases.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and bending.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, including punctuality for all shifts.
- Excellent team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Awareness of and commitment to health and safety procedures.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event setup, construction, or general manual labor.
- Familiarity with airport environments or security protocols.
- Valid UK driving license.
