Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Global Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. This is a crucial role responsible for processing payroll for Apple employees across various global regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. You will play a vital part in maintaining our employees’ trust and ensuring smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Process multi-country payroll for a diverse employee base, adhering to local regulations and company policies.
  • Verify payroll data, including hours worked, leave, deductions, and bonuses, for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure all payroll-related information is up-to-date.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with payroll-related reconciliations and audits.
  • Prepare and submit necessary payroll reports to management.
  • Stay informed about changes in global payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Support year-end payroll activities and tax reporting.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in global payroll processing.
  • Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of international payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification such as Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
