Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Bank Teller with a strong focus on high-volume cash handling to join our team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This role is crucial for providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to assist our valued clients with their banking needs. You will be at the forefront of our customer interactions, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
- Handle a high volume of cash transactions daily, ensuring accuracy and adherence to bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by accounting for all transactions at the end of each shift.
- Identify and refer customers to appropriate banking products and services based on their needs.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Adhere to all bank security procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the branch.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience in cash handling or a customer service role.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with banking software or POS systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a financial institution.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Truist Bank products and services.
