Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our branch in Montgomery, AL. This role offers the stability of a full-time position with a clear focus on standard banking hours, meaning no overtime is required. You will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, handling a variety of transactions and providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer according to established procedures and policies.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all bank security procedures and compliance regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch.
- Educate customers on various digital banking tools and services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient branch operation.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or cash handling experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a similar financial role
- Familiarity with banking software and systems
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
