Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our branch in Montgomery, AL. This role offers the stability of a full-time position with a clear focus on standard banking hours, meaning no overtime is required. You will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, handling a variety of transactions and providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer according to established procedures and policies.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Adhere to all bank security procedures and compliance regulations.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch.
  • Educate customers on various digital banking tools and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient branch operation.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service or cash handling experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately with numbers and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a similar financial role
  • Familiarity with banking software and systems
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
