Job Description
Are you an early riser with a passion for fitness and a desire to inspire others? PureGym is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Bootcamp Assistant to join our team in Abingdon-on-Thames. You will play a crucial part in delivering exhilarating bootcamp sessions, fostering a supportive community, and ensuring our members achieve their fitness goals. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead trainers in delivering engaging and effective early morning bootcamp sessions.
- Set up and dismantle equipment before and after each session efficiently.
- Provide motivation, encouragement, and basic guidance to bootcamp participants.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all members, adhering to PureGym's safety protocols.
- Help track participant progress and attendance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bootcamp area.
- Build positive relationships with members, fostering a strong community spirit.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work reliably and punctually during early morning hours.
- Basic understanding of fitness principles and exercise techniques.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fitness-related role or as a sports assistant.
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (or working towards).
- Experience leading group exercise activities.
- A passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
