Job Description

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality food and customer satisfaction? Golden Corral in Akron is seeking a dedicated Buffet Quality Auditor to join our team immediately. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular, scheduled audits of all buffet stations to ensure optimal food quality, freshness, and appearance.
  • Verify food temperatures are within safe and acceptable ranges using provided tools.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of buffet items.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and organization of serving areas, utensils, and surrounding environments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to kitchen and serving staff regarding presentation and quality standards.
  • Document findings and report any discrepancies or areas for improvement to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of food safety principles (training provided).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Food Handler's Permit or relevant food safety certification.
  • Familiarity with buffet operations.
