Job Description
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality food and customer satisfaction? Golden Corral in Akron is seeking a dedicated Buffet Quality Auditor to join our team immediately. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, scheduled audits of all buffet stations to ensure optimal food quality, freshness, and appearance.
- Verify food temperatures are within safe and acceptable ranges using provided tools.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of buffet items.
- Inspect the cleanliness and organization of serving areas, utensils, and surrounding environments.
- Provide constructive feedback to kitchen and serving staff regarding presentation and quality standards.
- Document findings and report any discrepancies or areas for improvement to management.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (training provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
- Food Handler's Permit or relevant food safety certification.
- Familiarity with buffet operations.
