Job Description
Are you passionate about cloud technology and eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic, high-impact environment? AWS is looking for an Entry Level Cloud Infrastructure Aide to support our critical cloud operations, with a particular focus on environments akin to large-scale media streaming services like Netflix. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals with a foundational understanding of IT concepts and a strong desire to learn and grow within the AWS ecosystem. You will work alongside experienced engineers, assisting with monitoring, incident response, and maintenance tasks to ensure the stability and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in monitoring cloud infrastructure performance and health using AWS tools.
- Participate in incident response by escalating alerts and gathering initial diagnostic information.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching and system updates, under supervision.
- Document operational procedures, incident reports, and system configurations.
- Learn and apply best practices for cloud security and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure issues and implement solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure operations and reliability.
- Support data backup and recovery processes as needed.
- Gain hands-on experience with AWS services relevant to large-scale, high-availability applications.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computing, networking, and storage concepts.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux or Windows).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Prior experience or coursework in IT support or systems administration.
- Understanding of ITIL principles.
